Frequently asked questions
How much does pintores.pt cost?
Nothing, for people asking for quotes. You only pay the painter you choose, the amount of the quote you accept.
Does the calculator show a price?
It shows an indicative price, worked out from the measurements and average prices per m². Where there are already enough real quotes for similar jobs, it shows the range half of them fell in. Either way it is only a guide: the price that counts is the written quote, after the painter has seen the photos or the home.
Are my contact details public?
No. Only the painters who take your request see them, at most the number you chose. You can delete your data whenever you like.
What if no painter replies?
We email you and look for painters for your request; if your area has no painters yet, the form tells you before you send. The request stays open for 30 days and you can close it any time.
What if the work isn't good?
Talk to the painter first on your request page. Your review stays on their profile for every future client; painters with repeated complaints stop getting requests.
Who pays pintores.pt?
Painters, when they take a request. That is why they only take the ones they really want.
