How it works

  1. Ask with photos

    Describe the job and add photos. Many painters can quote like that; if they need to visit, they arrange it with whoever has the key.

  2. Follow it on your phone

    Photos at the start, during and at the end, by email and on your request page.

  3. Approve at the end

    The painter sends the final photos. You approve, or ask for corrections before the job counts as finished.

Tip

Agree to pay in stages and leave the last part until you approve the final photos. pintores.pt does not take payments: you pay the painter directly.

Frequently asked questions

I have a foreign mobile number. Can I ask?

Yes. We send the confirmation code by email and painters contact you the way you prefer, including WhatsApp.

Do painters speak English?

Many do. Each profile shows the languages the painter speaks.

When is the best time to ask?

One to two months ahead. If you come to Portugal in summer, ask in May or June so the house is ready when you arrive.

What if I don't like the result?

Ask for corrections on your request page, with a note. The painter gets it by email and sends new photos when they are done.
