1. The service
These terms apply to people who ask for quotes on pintores.pt, operated by [to fill in under Settings] (Legal information). Asking for quotes is free and without obligation: you pay nothing to pintores.pt.
2. Your request
- You describe the job truthfully and confirm your mobile or email with a code.
- You choose how many quotes you want, from 1 to 5. We share the request and your contact details only with the painters who take it, up to that number.
- The calculator's indicative prices are estimates, not quotes. A price only counts when a painter sends it in writing.
- You can close the request or erase your data at any time on the request page.
3. The painters
Before a painter gets requests we check their tax number, identity and past work. This check is not a guarantee of the quality of the work: choose based on the quotes, the reviews and the visit.
The "Insured" badge and documents shown on a profile were seen by our team on the date shown; confirm them with the painter before the work starts.
4. The contract for the work
When you accept a quote, the contract is between you and the painter: price, dates, payment, warranty and any extra work. pintores.pt is not a party to that contract, does not take payment for the work and is not responsible for how it is carried out. Your consumer rights towards the painter remain.
When you accept a quote online, we keep the date, time and name given, as a record for you and the painter.
5. Reviews
You can only review a painter after accepting their quote through the site. A review must describe your real experience, without personal data, insults or unfounded accusations. The painter may reply publicly. We remove reviews that break these rules, never because they are negative. More in How we rank.
6. What you may not do
- Make fake requests, or requests in someone else's name without their permission.
- Use painters' contact details for advertising or anything unrelated to the request.
- Try to access other users' data or disrupt the site.
7. Personal data
We process your data as described in the Privacy policy.
8. Liability
We do our best to keep the site available and the information accurate, but we do not guarantee it will run without interruption. We are not liable for damage arising from the work, which is the painter's responsibility, or for information given by painters. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes
We may change these terms; the current version is always on this page with the date of the last update. Changes do not apply to requests already made.
10. Law and disputes
Portuguese law applies. In a dispute you may use the Complaints Book and the alternative dispute resolution shown in Legal information, without prejudice to the courts competent under the law.
